Its still Dec but...will UNC be hosting?

UNC is on fire. they are 11-3 with one more game to go. They are 10-2 in OOC games only. Who is thinking they could be hosting this year? They had one of the weaker schedules in the conference but still they are going to be a contender. They went 2-0 vs Mtn West teams, almost beat Okla on the road and just beat a 9-3 Denver team that beat UM. Their 2 OOC losses were close and the loss to MSU seems a bit odd.

Is it out of WSU , UM , UNC ? What about MSU? PSU?

Based on overall record the rest of the conference isn't overly impressed with WSU. We always do much better in big sky play though.

We will have something to say this week hosting the Montanas and then next week off to UNC. Big couple of weeks for our team or should I say 4 big games in next 11 days.

A couple highlights to note on our team. 1. we played some tough schools, tough road games to prepare us for conference. 2. playing in a tourney, 3 games in 3 days and 4 in 7 days will prepare us for conf as well and hopefully the conf tourney if things go well.

My pick is still us to host but UNC is tearing it up! They could have 11 OOC wins if they beat TCU.

No, Hawaii and Air Force were picked to be at the bottom of their conferences. They lost by 24 at Montana State. One point loss at Oklahoma was impressive, but this conference race is between WSU, Montana, and Montana State. Which makes this weekend HUGE.

so you are thinking UNC might be a 2007 PSU? In 2007 PSU went 9-4 in OOC then went 9-7 in conf which looked like they underacheived after having such a good OOC which included a win over Arizona State.

PSU finished 4th in the big sky that yr.

In all honesty, I think Weber's top competition this season is going to come from both Montana State and Northern Colorado. Montana has a good record now, but who have they played? Portland State will be tough, but not tough enough to challenge for a Big Sky Title.

But who know's, this is the Big SKy conference after all.
