• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Thanks for the info Jon, this is the first time I have heard of this move so I can note it in my hoops recap (if I can ever get to it). I think it comes with mixed thoughts. Carbs had a horrible year shooting the ball (4/35 from 3) but shored up his free throw shooting (12/17). He struggled in the starting role but at times did provide a spark coming off the bench. For the most part his development has peaked but I felt he could have provided some solid minutes in a 6th man role next season.

The bad news is this is yet another recruit leaving the program and now can potentially be a hit to the APR if he doesn’t graduate. Carbs would have been only the 2nd HS recruit to make it through his entire career under Katz.

The good news is this opens up more playing time for Demps, Barlett or another player that can provide an impact as well as frees up a scholie for use. Carbs’ departure shouldn’t be a huge hit to the program.

Estrada gone too.

Based on the numbers I don’t think there was a scholie open for him. I was thinking he would have been a “walk-on” had he stayed. Given his unimpressive performance two years ago and missing last season due to injury, this is not a significant loss at all. Best of luck to Estrada at Chico.
