it was great to see the big corn fed nebraskan finally get in the game!

...and not get hurt! Actually, he looked decent and much more coordinated than I remember the time I saw him on the court. He looks like he has good bball IQ and we already know he's a leader. I'm excited to see if he can help this team.

I loved the ovation he got, when he checked in. And, the smile on his face. You gota love that kid/man. He's not really a kid any more. :notworthy: :notworthy:

He had such a goofy smile on his face (I think he was trying not to, but how could he not??) when he entered the game. As a fan, I couldn't help to stand up when I saw Big James make his way off the bench. He definitely limited Egwounu's ability to get deep into the paint once he entered the game. That is what James gives the Cats: toughness, size, a physical presence that overwhelms opposing bigs. :thumb:

Not quite, he got worked like 3 times in a row for close range buckets by Egwounu. The second time he came in he did much better holding his ground without picking up cheap fouls.

Yeah, he didn't look great defensively, but that will get better as he sees more minutes. I was just pleased to see him on the floor. That standing ovation when he checked in was fantastic! :thumb:

I loved seeing him enter the game. He needs to get into game shape. In the first stint he played, I think he sweated more than the four other Weber players combined.

Best way to get into game shape is to play in the game, that's what I say
