6'5" Jamaican Neveij Walters of USU-Eastern (formerly College of Eastern Utah) has reportedly signed with ISU, according to the Jamaica Basketball Association's Twitter accound...

Naveij Walters formerly of Belair High accepts Idaho State U as his D1 scholarship. Risks remain as the NCAA give him 1 year eligibility.

A previous tweet indicated he actually signed back in May...

NJCAA: Neveij Walters 2011-2012 Stats

He was eighth in the SWAC (a very good JC league) in scoring, fourth in rebounding and third in field goal shooting. Looks like a nice pick-up.

I left out Walters, so by my NEW count, ISU will have 12 scholarship players next year, barring a late pickup/announcement:

C--Preh, 6-9 and Kusmierek, 7-4

F--Kostur, 6-6, Ezenwa, 6-6, Walters, 6-5 and Hatchett, 6-4

Wings--Sanchez, 6-3, Hansen, 6-4, Mason, 6-1

PGs--Morgan, 5-11 and Baldwin, 6-0

Looks like a nice pickup... Bengals need some added size, and though he is only 6'5'', the fact that he got 7 boards per game last year should mean he can play down low at least a bit.
