Jeremy Senglin gets deal with Brooklyn

Discovering news for free-agent rookie signings is kind of an odd process, but Jeremy Senglin should get a good shot in Brooklyn.

ESPN/Basketball Insiders reported a deal with Brooklyn earlier today, we were able to track down an extra detail that means Senglin is a priority free agent for the Nets

Nice job Brett! Thanks for the info. To me, this is an awesome opportunity for Jeremy. Perfect franchise to showcase his talents at and possible earn a roster spot.

By the way, love the limited and misleading reporting coming from KSL on Mika.

All he needs is a chance and he is getting it. They're getting a sweetheart deal with Jeremy. I think he is going to do well where ever he goes. He is a tremendous young man who has worked hard to get to this point. I wish him the very best. :thumb: :thumb:

Thanks for the report!

This new two-way deal for two players is a good way to help develop players, but keep them in your fold. The 10-day contract stuff of the past was always odd.

Bolomboy's year with the Jazz was pretty interesting. He came up, he went down, but he got to play a little for the big team, and a lot for the little team. I think it was very good for his overall development. And the Jazz seemed to like what they could do with him. Hopefully Jeremy will have the same type of experience with Brooklyn.

Nice piece on Jeremy.
