I agree, who do they think the typical bidder is anyway? He/she certainly does not live in eastern Washington!EWU98 said:Love the auction but at 200 bid increments that is also out of my price range.

This. I'm happy they're maximizing profits, but my 14 year old who had his first job this summer was looking forward to getting one and they are out of his price range. hno:
Totally agree but ebay takes a fee where this site might not. But yes too high of a starting point.clawman said:Hi Kalm;kalm said:clawman said:I agree, who do they think the typical bidder is anyway? Whoever is running this auction does not know what they are doing or is totally out of touch with reality. Any auctioneer will tell you the more bidders you have the higher the price will go. Start at a low price, and have bid increments small amounts and the end price will be higher.
Why not just create a store in Ebay and get the world involved.
I'm sure the total revenue this year will be a fraction of last year.

Revenues on eBay would been so much higher than the fee the net gain would have been substantial.EWU98 said:Totally agree but ebay takes a fee where this site might not.
