Jody Sears out at CSUSUCSSSCU

Apparently Troy Taylor is also a possibility. Didn't realize he was an alum.

Thought Troy played at Cal. Not sure why a FBS OC would step back to the FCS. Utah wins the Pac 12 and he may be able to write his ticket. Colorado State, Utah State and several other mid majors are likely to have an opening. Not saying Troy would be their "guy", but he will be in the conversation sooner than later out of a program like Utah.

Taylor makes 500,000 per year plus a potential bonus of 83k now. What do you think Sac State can pay?

Also Jerome Sauers retired @ NAU.
Western Kentucky fired Mike Skelton and hired Tyson Helton as HC so Junior Adams will be looking for a job. Jr is making 225 as OC @ WKU so would be a good candidate for HC at the FCS level.
I think a coach is nuts to drop down to FCS when they are already @ the FBS level, but the quest for a HC title is very strong draw

Reading comprehension fail, my bad. He's from the area and played HS ball nearby.

Sac state cutting ties with ex-EWU DC Jody Sears. Seeing some rumors that Wulff may be tapped to take over.

Interesting....

Wulff was part of the staff this year, correct? I can't imagine they wouldn't want a clean break. Jeezus, they had high hopes this year and were absolutely awful.

Troy Taylor seems like a pie-in-the-sky coach. Unless he's in trouble at Utah (and I can't imagine he would be for any reason), there's no way he'd take that big of a step backward in income.

The OC from Nevada might be a better fit and a more realistic candidate.

I don't know if the Nevada OF would be interested, but the fans want their OK coach, Angus McClure. Former Sac State player who used to run the recruiting side for UCLA.
