2. Gene Visscher 24 1966

3. Gene Visscher 23 1966
Willie Sojourner 23 1970
Al DeWitt 23 1974
Harry Willis 23 1987
JOEL BOLOMBOY 23 2016

no player in the big sky has had 23 boards in a game in 29 years until today. no one from WSU has had 24 in a game in 40 years.

20 has only been reached twice during the rahe era, arturas had 20 in 2008 and joel had 20 vs UVU this yr.

will joel really break the wsu all time record? i never thought anyone from wsu would ever catch willie. it seemed so untouchable by anyone until tonight. even to get 15 boards in a game is a huge deal and thats barely over joel's 13 average.

How about 20/20 games?

i am not sure how to find the numbers but id love to see.

Career Rebounds - WSU
1. Willie Sojourner (1968-71) 1,143 (#2 Big Sky)
2. JOEL BOLOMBOY (2013-16) 1,093 (#4 Big Sky) - 51 rebounds to go
3. Jimmie Watts (1973-76) 949

Big Sky - Career Rebounds
1. Steve Hayes, Idaho State (4) 1973-77 110 1,147
2. Willie Sojourner, Weber State (3) 1968-71 81 1,143

4. JOEL BOLOMBOY, WEBER STATE (4) 2013-16 113 1,093 - 55 rebounds to go

joel has the most rebounds by any big sky player in 40 years.

joel will take down maybe every rebounding record willie had except for career average. that just isn't possible. willie played before fresh were allowed so he had 3 yrs and joel had 4 yrs. willie got his 1,144 boards in 81 games. wow!

Career Rebounding Average
1. Willie Sojourner 14.1 68-71 (#1 Big Sky)
2. Gene Visscher 12.8 64-66 (#5 Big Sky)
3. Dan Sparks 12.6 66-68 (#6 Big Sky)
4. Rico Washington 10.6 87-89 (#10 Big Sky)
5. JOEL BOLOMBOY 9.7 (1,093, 113 games) 13-16
6. Kirk Smith 9.6 93-95 (#18 Big Sky)

Love Hollis, love Beckner, and have loved watching Joel's accomplishments.

Bolomboy said he knew the rebounding record was well within his grasp coming into last Saturday's game at Pocatello, but he tried not to dwell on it.

"I didn't really think about it too much, but I knew it was coming up," he said. "One of the coaches that was here a couple of years ago, Phil Beckner, gave me this stat sheet and told me to go break it one day, so that's really cool. He gave it to me before he went to go work in the (NBA's) D-League, and I actually still have the sheet in my locker right now. I look at it all the time."

What happened to your fan site? Ron start managing it? Or did you let PattenJr take over?
