Jordan

Maybe as an excuse for an utterly pathetic showing. I haven't see such worthless football on both sides of the line in forever.

I just want to say that I think Jordan is one hell of a quarterback and I am excited to see him play against Sac St. Jordan is a warrior and can lead this team to a respectable season. Nothing against Austin, but Jordan is a MAN and Austin still has a lot to learn. Jordan has been with the team for four years and has earned the right to lead the team. I hope he is the starter for the rest of the season and plays the majority of snaps. Let's not forget we are still 1-0 in the FCS.

I agree but it is going to be very hard to get up to play after taking a beating like what is going on is logan and to the pukes. Unless McNeese is really bad i dont see us winning that one either just because we have been beat into the ground the past two weeks. They are going to have to do something real special to get team moral back up to play well again.

Sorry to be overly negative but 1-0 means little with the showing these last two weeks. Defensively, the second half of the SFA game didn't look too different from the pukes or Aggie games. I realize Chipoletti is a true frosh but he looks horrid! Weber sneaks ONE first down in before half??? I don't care who you're playing, how young you are, or whatever, that's just NOT acceptable. To make matters worse, the players body language says they've given up and early in both blowouts. I don't understand, they're getting a college education to play D1 football, I'd sure like to see some excitement, hustle, pride, etc. So frustrating.

Carl Arky talked about this. He said Jordan was held out out of precaution. He does have some arthritis issues... But nothing serious. The coaches wanted him rested up for conference play is what Arky said... I don't know what that means against McNeese... I guess we'll find out. I'm guessing the same steps were taken with Bo Bolen.

That would kinda tick you off if you were an "expendable" player who happened to get hurt in a mismatch like this, huh?

Weber State (1-2) will start true freshman quarterback Austin Chipoletti for the second consecutive week. Chipoletti played against USU as senior Jordan Adamczyk was held out with knee soreness.

“Right now we’re gonna go with Chip and then Jordan’s feeling a lot better, we’ll get him in the mix as well,” ’Cats coach Jody Sears said. “Jordan’s feeling a ton better with a week on the shelf. The score doesn’t show it but Chip did some good things in that Utah State game.”

That said, Adamczyk is the starter when he’s healthy, Sears said. “I don’t want to throw Jordan right back to the wolves, because I want to make sure he’s healthy and feeling good
