This is a simple "get off my lawn" pov...I find West, and previously Adams, coming out for the 1st series or anytime beyond that and dancing to the stadium music highly douchey...also why in thee hell is West wearing one eye black patch...on a cloudy day.

I get the whole confident vibe they may feel it sends but it just looks douchey...and the fact that West is essentially copying Adams, from dancing to the one eye patch makes it even worse

I fully acknowledge that this observation is for the most part completely pointless in the grand scheme of things and maybe players/recruits love it and whatever keeps recruits coming in than whatever...just saying it annoys the hell outta me...and remember to stay off my damn lawn!!!!!!
 
I, respectfully, disagree. It's just a part of our offenses identity. If it's something that helps West settle into the offense or hit his groove (no pun intended) I don't really care. It's not hurting anyone and, although older fans seem to hate it, a lot of younger fans enjoy the showboat.

Don't really care either way. Personally, I wouldn't be out there dancing in his situation. But if West is enjoying himself, who am I to say anything. He is the one on the field busting his ass, not I.

I agree with what you are saying....him or whomever wanting to be GQ cool before a play or wearing clothing items/equipment accessories that really serve no purpose other than flash has no bearing on an outcome of a game...I just think it looks corny as hell

:lol: I totally agree. I've always had a solid "WTF" mindset concerning West's whole getup.
 
You guys feel pretty good about attacking young student athletes? I think you should take a step back and chill the hell out. His looks aren't hurting anyone, when VA was doing it you didn't have anyone on here judging him. This is #5 first year as a starter and has done a damn nice job. You might not understand his appearance but if anyone today was to look back at what you wore or the choices you made in college they would scratch their head too. If you want to judge the way he has played go for it, but the attacks on his looks has you one step closer to EGRIZ. Shut the hell up already.

I totally agree with you EagerEagle. He is a damn good QB as are the backups at EWU. I don't care if he looks like Captain Jack Sparrow as long as he plays well.

Dude. Relax. This was totally light-hearted until this ^. If that's what he needs to do to play well, then more power to him.
 
It wasn't light hearted, it was monopolizing, the post above my original which has since been edited had gone to far. Just as one of the posts above calling his actions "douchey".

My posts on the board are coming from an angle that these are kids playing a game...... and we are adults watching and enjoying watching them play. Just because I won't jump in doesn't mean I need to "grow a pair" or that I am acting holier then thou. Enjoy the ride. It's a great day to be an Eagle!

Back in my day he would have been playing air guitar to Quiet Riot. That would have been super douchey. :mrgreen:
