• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.
  • Hi Guest, want to participate in the discussions, keep track of read/unread posts and more? Create your free account and increase the benefits of your eGriz.com experience today!

We hosted a multi-artist concert at my church tonight. Most of the artists were from Epic Bible College in Sacramento (formerly Trinity Life Bible College), our senior pastor's alma mater and the place our intern youth pastor is finishing his senior year. He invited a friend of his with no connection to Epic, however. His friend introduced himself to me as Otis. Then Otis mentioned that he recognized me from somewhere, but wasn't sure. Our conversation nailed it down to Sac State football. At that point, he knew he had me, and gave me his full name: Fred "Otis" Amey. I thought he was just in our gym supporting his friend (stage name St. John), and he was doing that. But Amey was ALSO there to perform. Turns out he's an amazing rap singer. While he didn't do THIS one, I found this on Youtube. It's a duet with our youth pastor.

While Otis did mention his time at Sac State and with the 49ers, I'm certain that I'm the only one in the place who understood just who he is.

Otis is a great guy. Amazing that people remember you after many years and you don't even remember meeting them! Wow!
