He has no choice but to go FCS, if he were to transfer to an FBS school he would have to sit out his whole Junior year, only to lose the position to someone else his senior year.
He is a Georgia kid, so I imagine he will head to an FCS school somewhere down in the south.

I would not be surprised if Roper, although being from Georgia, ended up in Missoula. The connection: Bill Moos, Former AD at Oregon and Montana. I believe Oregon has been dealing Montana a few players here and there over the years since Moos' AD tenure at Oregon.
