Katz Contract Extension

Anyone hear about this? I found a Yahoo write up on the season and it said that Katz had his contract extended for 5 years. I don’t recall hearing about this but I could have missed it. I think it's a good move as Katz looks to have this program heading in the right direction both on and off the court.

Katz, who recently agreed to a contract extension, added nine players to the fold through recruiting. They will augment a team that improved by seven games last season, finishing 9-21 with seven losses decided by two possessions or less.

Sacramento State appears confident the program is headed in the right direction. Katz recently signed a five-year contract extension.

Honestly, I think Katz has done a great job in his two seasons. Lots of improvement and back to the fundamentals. Hopefully we see a return to the Big Sky Tournament in the next few years. Lead us to bigger and better pastures Coach Katz!
