What does everyone think? Should we take a shot at him? TE is one area where we could use a lift this year...........I say get on the horn and get him in here.

He'll end up at Montana. They grow what he smokes right up on the hills above WA Griz Stadium. Push comes to shove, they'll just issue him a prescription for medical ganj, that way he stays out of trouble. Baldwin wouldn't put up with his shenanigans...

He'd be a great talent if he just gave a damn.

Didn't know he had a problem with the reefer. Still, EWU has been successful in taking problem kids in the past, so you never know.

This from Fritz Neighbor of the Missoulian...

"There were a few new faces at practice this week, the big one being Kavario Middleton, a highly-recruited tight end who began his career at the University of Washington.
Middleton caught 26 passes for 257 yards and three touchdowns in 2009 for the Huskies, but was dismissed from the team in July. The Seattle Times reported it was because he failed a drug test.

The Lakewood, Wash., product had intended to transfer to Nebraska, but told the Lincoln Journal-Star on Aug. 23 that he was going to have to play elsewhere because of academic and admission hold-ups.

"Things did not work out," Middleton told the Journal-Star. "Things didn't work out with the deadline they were giving us, so I'll be going elsewhere."

The junior was at Washington-Grizzly Stadium Tuesday, wearing No. 85. The 6-foot-5, 250-pounder was a Parade All-American in 2007 and caught 12 passes as a true freshman at UW in 2008. He joins fellow UW transfer Tyrone Duncan, a defensive tackle, at UM."

The bigger they are, the harder they fall! Bring 'em on!

I didn't realize all the problems this guy had, I thought it was just grades or a little mischief. I'm glad we didn't end up getting him, the Griz can deal with guys like WIlson and this kid.
