Really disappointed that he would leave just as fall camp opens. Coach Glanville promotes him to co-OC and he leaves for a job in the CFL of all places. Doesn't make any sense to me. Horrible timing for the players and program overall.

Like Jerry says "it's an opportunity to get better". I think they did that. If Strasser wants to coach elsewhere then good luck to him. The timing sucks but hey the offensive system is in place and Craft can handle it with Stutzman taking care of the receivers in an offense he knows well. Go Vikings!

I realize coaches move on but leaving in late July is not the best of times, especially after receiving a promotion just a few weeks earlier.

That will follow him the rest of his days as a coach. I agree it is very weak behavior, but it's history now. Craig is gonna be a great coach.
