LA Tech = dirty thieves

Watching the SJSU vs LA Tech game last night, I couldn't help but think how instrumental Jon Greenwalt and his bro would have been for the hornets. Several times during the game last night, Jon made good receptions to keep bulldog drives alive. Jon would have a great complement to Safron. He probably would have made Safron look like the top QB in the BSC.

Jon and his bro were committed and ready to arrive at Sac St from RCC before LA Tech swooped in at the last minute and stole 'em.

Well, these "dirt thieves" got their punishment. 9-3 season, no bowl game. Got offered a place in the Independence Bowl and turned it down. They assumed they were going to receive a Liberty Bowl invite, but NIU's victory over Kent State caused the Liberty to align differently. Long story short, no bowl game for La La Tech.

The fans are calling for his head. Apparently Karl Malone has offered his services, and has made hints he wants a shot as the head Bulldog. Karl and Terry were not pleased when this all went down.

The Cinderella story gone wrong. Their AD overplayed the popularity card. He presumed they would have better invites. I feel bad for those players, especially the seniors. Saw the Karl Malone tweet. I have a feeling Sonny Dykes won't be the only leaving if he does leave.
