• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Lack of fundamentals

I am reall disturbed by the lack of basic fundiimentals that this years team is showing, especially the tackling. I was listening to the husky pregame show where former husky head coach Kieth Gilbertson who was talking about watching a Chris Peterson practice. He said they were quite boring, not much 7 on 7, they just worked on fundiimentals the whole time but that way when they hit the field for a game they are more fundimentaly sound than their opponent.
I'm not impressed with O line either. Seems like an all around breakdown.

Years ago I read a book about Coach John Wooden. He was so focused on detail and fundamentals that the first practice every season consisted ONLY on tying your shoes. His logic was, if you get a blister you are no good to the team.
I think in all sports players want to get to the fun stuff too quick and not get the basics right first.
