Senior forward Kylie Kuhns set the Hornets career rebounds record with 932 during tonight's double-header opener at the Nest, a 74-62 win over Utah Valley. Kuhns dropped 15 through the laces and grabbed 12 boards to post a double-double. Junior guard Alle Moreno led the way with 24. In all, FOUR Hornet starters scored in double figures.
Sac won both halves. UVU had higher shooting percentages (3-pt and overall), but Sac had more gross buckets. One thing the Hornets may want to work on, however, is the team 58% free-throw shooting....
Next up: San Fran at the Nest next Wednesday at 7.
