Last Wildcat Win In OGDEN vs. MSU

I didn't believe this when I first heard it, I even had to read it twice. The last time Weber beat MSU in Ogden was in 1996. WTF!!! For some reason the bobcats have had our number at Stewart Stadium. Thankfully, all streaks have to end eventually, lets just hope its this year.

I don't think I attended the last WSU-MSU game in Ogden in 2007, but I still vividly remember the 2005 game in which MSU QB Travis Lulay led the Bobcats on a second half comeback to steal the win. I don't know if I have ever been so pissed off after a game, except for last year's EWU game. Lulay was an absolute stud. He was a big, fast kid who could run and pass.

As I recall, the last game on Ogden turned on a particular Alabama QB throwing two picks for TDs inside our 25 yard line.

This game hurt & tanked the Big Sky season before it got started.

That day sucked. Barnes sucked, ugh...

Where did Barnes eventually end up? He went from big time recruit to Alabama, to Weber (washed out here), and then I don't know what happened after that.

Scrub for Arizona State?

The 2005 game, for me, was far worse. Weber had that game! I was physically sick after that one. That game should be considered one of MSU's greatest comebacks.

I agree. I really questioned the coaching, including Coach Mac, after that one. I was wondering at the time if the Coach Mac experiment was going to work or not. I thought maybe it was just going to be Weber St football as usual with Mac at the helm. Glad to say, I was wrong! But that's how bad I felt after Lulay stabbed me with his dagger.
