We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Let's talk spring football

Info from a good source on our spring ball so far. The D looks to be playing fast and with a lot of energy, but it is hard to evaluate when there is no real tackling. The DL and DB transfers are working with the 2's so do not know if that is a good or bad sign. There are a few more D transfers practicing that we are not sure if they are walk-on or scholarship players. The BYU DL is a feisty guy and had to be pulled out of a few drills because of some extra action after the whistle. This may be a good thing bringing a little of an edge to the D.

The O looks good as expected. Gueller & Amos are the clear #1 & #2 QB's and both look good especially for this early in Spring. WR/TE's look sharp, even with Dean not taking part in any group work and Reynolds is also out. Besides the returning WR's Peterson, Bell, Conner, and Walters all look to be ready to help add depth to that position. RB's are as expected with two for sure studs and McFarlin looking good also. OL seems to be doing well, but with the defense not allowed to sack the QB's it is hard to tell how good their pass protection is at this point. The JC OL has filled in right away for Phillips at RG and Smith is with the 1's at RT. The 2nd team center snaps are inconsistent so that is a concern, but it is early.

Would love to hear anyone else's opinion who has seen a practice.

Thanks Bengal, good to hear from someone who was at the practice. Hope that feisty thing spreads through the whole team, in a good way. Would love to see the team as a whole playing with a chip on there shoulder. Nice to hear we have a good backup at QB, we know what Guiller can do, will be good for him to be pushed as the starter.

It's been so long ( since Tanner was a freshman) that ISU coaches have said we have a clear back up QB. I figured that the incoming elderly players (aka juco/drop-down) would have to prove to Phen and other coaches more than before. Glad to see that change.
What news in the kicking game??
