6th best prospect from a non BCS conference. Draftexpress.com has him being drafted after this season in the 2nd round while nbadraft.net has him being drafted 2nd round after next season. Both websites are pretty legit sites. I expect his name to rise the charts for both websites as the season progresses. Also note before his injury last year, nbadraft.net had him as a middle to late first round pick for last years draft.

just for fun

http://www.draftexpress.com/nba-mock-draft/2012/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; #14 in the second round for 2012 draft

http://www.nbadraft.net/2013mock_draft" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; 47th overall for 2013 draft

It will be fun to watch where his name is as the year progresses on both sites. I remember when he was ahead of Jimmer on last years mock draft at one point.

As far as when he gets drafted I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he went after this year, but my gut is telling me it won't be until 2013 draft.

To make an update, nbadraft.net has Lillard going 34 overall (4th pick in the second round) in the 2012 draft. http://www.nbadraft.net/2012mock_draft" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

draftexpress has him going 45th overall in 2012 (although draftexpress hasnt made an update since november 15th) http://www.draftexpress.com/nba-mock-draft/2012/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

Both of these sites are ran by NBA scouts with at least some insight. Although the year is still young and anything can happen

I don't think a second round selection would pull him out. If that is where he is projected, I feel that he will be here for his senior year.

Just sayin....

http://nbadraft.net/2012mock_draft" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - updated today (1/26/12) lillard is number 19. As the second highest point guard Just ahead of Wroten of Washington, Teague of Kuntucky, and Kabango of Texas.

http://www.draftexpress.com/nba-mock-draft/2012/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; updated the 23rd lillard is 22. Also as the second highest PG

At the beginning of the year I predicted he would end up being a middle to late first round pick this year and no one believed me. Although it's still early and anything can happen

Now we need to run the table in conference play, win the tourney and score an upset in the first round of the NCAAs. Then perhaps Lillard could jump into a lottery pick. :thumb:
