Lillard -- Music to a Wildcat's ears

Trib article today nearly brought tears to my eyes. You can read the whole thing below, but this line:

"So this is another step in the evolution of Lillard, who already has done more in his first two pro seasons than any player from a Utah school in any sport."

Man do I like moving past Utah's "Big" important, arrogant, universities and their past athletes with that claim. Little Sister Weber? Hey read this you fool!

The best ever? It seems to be happening in front of our faithful and watchful eyes. What a ride we are all on. Go USA = Go Lillard in 2016. Wow, it just boggles my mind...

I think we have been getting a lot more and better press lately. Just today, there is a nice article on Jamie Martin in the Des. News. Lillard is good for great stories on a regular basis. The addition of Hill to our coaching ranks has also been a boost.

Of course the two programs to the south of us get a lot of attention from the Salt Lake press, and well they should. However, we are getting our share of the spotlight lately.

Additionally, the WSU athletics web site has been doing a better job of staying active and relevant this summer. In summers past they have gone into hiding. :coffee:

Sweet article!! And it was written by the biggest Weber State apologist ever. I couldn't believe what I was reading. BUT he is right, Lillard is something extremely special. Sooooo grateful he came from Weber State.
