Lineman Who Didn't Return in 2016

I'm trying to find out about a kid who I heard showed some promise last year as a freshman lineman named Codi McGwire. I believe that he redshirted last year. I heard a rumor that he might have gotten into some trouble last year (drug possession) but I was just curious if anyone knew anything about this.
 
Unfortunately what you heard is fairly accurate. He left the squad and school rather early last season. Very unfortunate.
