Looks like we moved up 3 spots from last week.

Interesting that we are ranked ahead of Long Beach State on the national collegeinsiders poll, but our own SLTrib has LBS at #8 in their poll of best in the west with Weber State no where to be seen.

I can't figure out why the Trib is so bad at covering Weber and sends Tony Jones to USU for continual coverage. Seriously, how many Trib subscribers are there in Cache Valley compared to Odgen. And what the heck is their excuse this year?

Hey SLTrib, wake up. The leading scorer in the nation is 30 miles up the road and Weber is climbing polls. Just tell Tony to drive a third of the way, save some gas money, watch better games and cover a much better story and team! Are you running a real sports page or what?

Yikes!!! It might be embarrassing being associated with the Trib. So much for "Utah's Independent Voice." Wow, really?!? BYU is the 5th best program in the West?  BYU's schedule is borderline laughable. The only teams worth mentioning on it are Baylor, Weber, and St. Mary's. Didn't they get beat by a sub-par USU team? Don't get me started on New Mexico. The team that is afraid to play on the road (because we all find out that they aren't very good) and play a bunch of patsies. So much for that paper lion of a program. I've decided the Trib isn't worth my time. The best comparision for the Trib would be our Marketing Department. A lot of talk, hot air, and unrealiable efforts.

Im just glad I didnt see Utah State on that list

Bwhy?U at # 5

i dont read the sl trib so i dont really care about any top 10 lists they make but its mainly because they have the least coverage in the state for weber. they have about 1 article every 2 weeks. lol

i think the underlying point of the article is that there are not very many good teams in the western US this year.

3 of the "top 5" beat weber but would they dare play us away from home? no
