Lodging in Moscow For Idaho Game Booked

9/21 Eagles play Idaho, and fifteen miles away WSU plays UCLA. That might explain why lodging facilities in Moscow that Saturday are already full. If you are doing our game, as of today, you may end up staying in Spokane, Coeur 'd Alene, or Lewiston. GO EAGS!

Driving out of Cheney or Spokane gets you there in an hour and half, especially if you route through Oakesdale and Palouse. I always wondered why people stay in Pullman for Coug games, because you can get 5x better hotel accommodations in Spoke for the same price. If you're at an age where you'd look foolish at college parties, Pullman-Moscow is a dreadful place to stay.

That 1 1/2 hours is in normal traffic. Have you seen or driven Wa hwy 27 or 195 post game? Maybe double that estimate which means get to Spokane @ midnight.

Anyone know if we will be doing a charter bus? Especially since they are our rivals again, maybe the school will put something like that together.

Information for all away games is on the Alumni website for bus and pre game. if you want tickets only and are a season ticket holder the ticket office will be selling tickets in mid July.

Can't wait until the Vandal game. Should be a good game in the dome and many of my Vandal friends feel that Coach Petrino should be fired because he plays his son instead of playing many other talented student/athletes at the QB position. If Petrino plays his kid at QB I like our chances. Go EAGS!

So weird last year when, if I remember right, they had the polar opposite two-pronged Qb duo. They had that offensive lineman QB and then the waterboy that was Petrino's son. His son wasn't that bad but looked like a ragdoll out there...the boy can take a hit as he was getting the shit kicked out of him. Kept thinking, as a father, how he could send his son out there play after play watching him get tossed around like a rag doll.

I don’t know who else they have on their roster but the little guy, Petrino, was a lot better than the fat turd second QB who was absolutely wretched.

I remember laughing when he came on the field because I’d never seen a QB with that much muffin-top at the bottom of his jersey. Do the Vandals spend any time in the gym?

I'm thinking very hard about going to this game. I know EWU beat them there 20-3 in about 2012. Did Eastern bring a very large contingent then? Do you think we will travel well this time around?
Since I'm a west sider I've wanted to make game at Portland state the last 3 times and finally made it last year but the game was in Hillsborough but still had a great time and will go there again, just wondering if the potato game could be as much fun?

I was at the earlier game, and I think you are correct about 2012. The Eagle fans probably numbered about 1,500, which would have been demonstrably less than we had in Hillsboro last year (the crowd was about 3-1 in favor of Eastern). The last game at the Kibbie Dome was a Thursday game with a 6:00pm start, if I remember correctly, so it was kind of weird timing and I think that affected the attendance. Eagle fans filled the last two sections on the press box side, although it wasn’t packed in the visitor section and nowhere near packed in total. I’d expect a bigger crowd for this one, especially Eagle fans making a weekend trip.

Word has it that coach Petrino has a very talented QB buried at safety on the defensive depth chart. This is why the Vandal Boosters are so mad. I am really looking forward to the Vandal game and I think this may be Petrino's last year unless he makes the playoffs.
