I see that Steven Long, the RB from Lake Oswego, tore his achilles tendon and will be out this coming year. He probably would have redshirted anyway, but too bad to do it under these circumstances.

That's unfortunate. You're right about the redshirt. At least he'll have ample time to recover, not use a year of eligibility, and still have a season of experience in learning the systems.
