Byron Fulton has been playing really well lately. I like his ability to go outside and knock down some 3's, but also, how he has a decent inside game. Also, like everyone on the team, he has really started to shoot his FT's better. Lord Byron's game has really improved as the season has gone one. A couple of areas I've really been impressed with are his rebounding and defense. Good to have him coming off the bench, and giving the Cats solid mins on both ends of the floor. Yes, he still takes some shots that he shouldn't, but he is learning when to pass it out, or in as we have all seen some nefty passes lately, at opportune times.

My only beef with Lord Byron (and he has been getting better at this) is going stonger to the basket, those fadeaways just are not falling this year, I would even be ok with a Tresnak-like hook shot.

But yes, Lord Byron has been huge for us, he played great at NAU and his 3's are dropping. Now if only we could get Wheelright's and Richardson's 3's to drop a little bit more

I agree with you. That fadeaway shot makes me cringe most of the time. I've been saying he needs to make a strong move, back down the defender, whatever he needs to do to score down low because he's really showing he can do that! And it's something we will need in the Big Dance!

Rebounding. That's what I'm liking. He's actually pulling down some boards. Nice to see last year's Frosh of the Year starting to have a good Soph season.

Lord Byron really kept the Cats in the game last night. With three starters on the bench with 4 fouls each (Lillard and Bam both had 4 fouls with 10 to go in the game...laughable reffing), it was great seeing Fulton come in and hit some tough and big shots to help the Cats get back control of the game.
