Vikings lost yesterday. Beavers lost, too. So did the Ducks. Adding to the total, both the Timbers and the Thorns lost as well. What is disheartening, all 5 games they play could (maybe should) have been won by the local team. Western Oregon got a win, their first so far this year. Alan gets to wave his banner proudly. He's the only winner in this bunch of losers.

Besides Western Oregon, two other Oregon publics were winners on Saturday: Southern Oregon 27-0 over Carroll and in 3 OT's Eastern Oregon 54-51 over Western Montana.
