• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Louisiana Tech Scandal...

As someone who covered the Lady Techsters back when I worked at KNOE and they were a national women's basketball power under head coach Leon Barmore this is disturbing to read to me and to see how far that program has fallen:

Supposedly Coach Summitt got someone pregnant.

I still keep in touch with Leon and Kim Mulkey at Baylor (reported on her when she played at and was an assistant coach at Tech) and I have to reach out to them both to get a sense of how they are taking this.

Really a shame today what can happen at programs like Tech, UNC and Louisville if folks aren't careful (and even then there is no defense for stupidity I guess...)

Interesting stuff. Look at some of the shenanigans within the ISU department about a decade ago. Proof crap can happen anywhere.

I never understood the Summit hire there. The kid was 23 years old at the time! No excuse for what he did. None. But look at a program with mission kids and redshirts. You have seniors who are 24 years old, sometimes even 25 year olds. Tyler Summit was coaching his peers, for crying out loud. It was a stupid hire, and he obviously didn't have the emotional maturity for it. He was hired based on his mother's name, period.
