M: 2016-17 Season Ends

Hornets get run off the court in the 2nd round of the BSCT in an 89-70 loss to EWU and finish the season with a disappointing 13-18 (10-10 BSC) record. There were some good moments this season but the Hornets should have had a few more wins and finished closer to 500 with this front court. Unfortunately lack of production at the 2 spot cost this team time and time again. Given how wide open the BSC was this year, this team was a perimeter shooter away from competing.

It was fun watching Stuteville and Hornsby for the last four years. They’ll be missed. Patton will be fun to watch for the next few years. Strings and Graves are back for another year, but Katz will need to find some pieces this offseason.
