I haven’t had much time to look into this matchup but I feel like this could be a winnable game if the Hornets play like they have been earlier in the season. Bako is a well balanced team as far as the numbers look but other than that I don’t know too much about them. They have had our number the last few years so maybe we are due. Bako did beat CP on the road as well as a decent Fullerton team on the road and are 4-2 coming into this game. This will be a tough one down there tomorrow.

Go Hornets!!!

The Hornets lost 63-60. I was able to listen to the first 5 minutes of the game and the Hornets were run off the court right from the get go. Katz failed yet again to have this team prepared to play. Bako built a 21 point lead only to have the Hornets rally back and make this game look a lot closer than it probably was. It sounds like this game resembled many of the games under Katz’ tenure here; fall behind by a lot early to lull the opponent to sleep, then mount a comeback only to fall short and give false hope about the potential of the team. Fortunately the Hornets will host a non-D1 team that should finally put an end to the embarrassing skid this team has had over the last two weeks.

Really??? "made this game look a lot closer than it probably was"??? Hornets ball, under their own basket, 3.5 seconds to go, Hornets miss a shot that would have tied the game in regulation. I could be wrong but I believe the only way the game could have been closer is if the Hornets lost in OT, double OT, triple OT...

I know they started out struggling for at least the whole first half, but a nice effort to fight back. They could have mailed it in. I know it's not much, I know everyone wants them to win, nobody more than me, but I do have to give them credit for fighting back.
