Sac completely shut down ND in the first half and coasted home with a victory. This group is playing as well as any team in the BSC right now. A win Saturday against UNC and I'm packing for Ogden......or maybe Greeley.....or .............

This posterization by Salley sums up the game pretty well:

Another HUGE win by the Hornets. We aren’t getting any help though. I was hoping Weber would issue some losses to others in the chase but they are imploding right now so the standings are still a complete log jam. I think we still need a couple more wins before we can punch a ticket to the BSCT.

Big game this Saturday against UNC…

Caught the second half. Looked like a well balanced game for the Hornets. Those choke missed free throws at the end of the game (Garrity, McKinney) was potentially 5pts. It was irrelavant at that point, but while the game has time to play....focus.

Don't think we have to worry about those two as they have shot freebies at 85% in the last five minutes up to last night. I feel it was more of a slight mental letdown knowing the game was wrapped up.

Now now GCM, what did we learn?

Northern Colorado is a 2 1/2 point favorite. They shot lights out at NAU and had a 15 point lead in the first 8 minutes and were never threatened. We've got to play tough "D" at the 3 point line; they killed NAU there.

We could beat 'em, but we'll have to have two solid halves and no let downs like the 6 minute drought at the start of the 2nd half vs N. Dakota and at end of the game again.

I agree GH......so far this year Sac is the toughest 3pt defense and NC is the highest 3pt %......hope defense trumps offense tonite.......we also have to keep them off the offensive boards......I think we will win a close one 80-76
