The Hornets (11-14, 4-10 BSC) hit the road for the final time in the regular season to face a struggling UNC (8-18, 5-9 BSC) team that is coming into this game on a 5 game losing streak. The Bears run a guard heavy lineup, all of whom average over 10 ppg.

Depending on which Hornet team shows up will determine if the Hornets get a win. This is a winnable game if the Hornets show up to play. Hornets need a split on this road trip.

42-36 Hornet lead at the half. Good offensive 1st half, typical poor defense though. This game has been a 3 point shooting competition for the most part. Good offensive performance so far, need another 20 minutes.

72-67 loss. Hornets counter their solid 1st half with a piss poor 2nd half. Lots of open shots missed by the Hornets. Perimeter defense was absolutely pathetic. This was a game they should have won.

I didn't see it but the Hornets no show in a laugher loss at UND 97-71. Strings put up 26 pts. So much for the end of the BSC slate being the easy part of the schedule.
