Hornets head to seek revenge at Seattle this afternoon. Hornetsports release indicates that there is a free stream for the game.

Seattle lost their opener at home to Ark Pine Bluff 58-56. There is no reason the Hornets shouldn't win if they play like they did at ASU.

How good would it be to start this season with 2 road wins? Last year we played what I think was our worst game of the year against Seattle, so we owe them our best effort this year. If we can get the win today, there's no reason we can't start 6-0 with the next 4 in the Nest. No relaxing because of the big win Friday. Need max effort today, and I think we will get it. This group doesn't forget last year...Your right SD...TIME FOR SOME REVENGE!!!!!

Another clunker in Seattle. Hornets trail 27-25 at half. The Hornets look tired, Demps is just off today. The Hornets as a whole are shooting the ball poorly, especially at the stripe (2/8). The Hornets are playing tough defense, however they are also picking up some bad fouls (MS with 3, Demps with 2). I'm not a fan of seeing Strings camped out behind the arc on offense.

Hornets win!!!! Even with an 8 min scoring drought, Sac wins 77-65. Big second half for Graves (even with 4 fouls), Wu (doesn't play like a freshman) and Strings....Ugbaja had a very good game too, total team win...these guys could have folded after falling behind by 10 in the second half but they started pressing and turned the game around...Marcus has had as good a start to his season as I can remember anyone having being as they were the first 2 games he ever started or for that matter even played much (he had 16 total points last year)....just like Friday in Tempe, they kept picking each other up when things looked bad....way to start the year with a 2 game winning road trip....

Impressive bench play right after the Seattle announcers were commenting on our lack of depth.
Wu came through HUGE! Strings with some solid mid range shots down the stretch, but the real hero in this one is Graves. He just took over the game.

Hornets have 4 days off, their homework is to each shoot 100 free throws a day until Friday. That free throw shooting will be suspect in the the closer games. Need to get better at the stripe.

Box score

I agree SD..got to clean up the free throws, but they did shoot 12-19 in the second half...not good but much better than the 2-8 in the 1st half...the thing I love is after an 8 min scoreless period, they scored 52 in the last 16 mins of the game...Katz has a lot of options available this year that he didn't have last year...he had to depend on Mikh and Dylan last year, this year he has much better depth on the roster.....

This team has always played better when they go 3/4 court pressure. Even going back to last year, whenever the Hornets found themselves trailing a bit, Katz would dial up the pressure and the Hornets would find themselves back in the game. That pressure ate Seattle up today. It's very fun to watch.

sweet.

2-0 to start the season on the road. wow.

This is great and going to be fun to see this team at home for the next four games.

Great to see the Hornets starting off this well and great to see them enjoying flying high from Arizona to Washington and back home to Sac .

keep it up Hornets!!

Sac State Pride.

Stingers Up!!

I came over to check out what time the game started tomorrow night(kept thinking Mon night) and saw the end result- wow. Great job hornets!
