Got a real solid performance overall and a win 74-49.....Shot lights out 55.8% overall.....Should give the team needed confidence that they can shoot well on the road and win at altitude.....Could be the best road performance by the Hornets since their win against Utah 3 years ago.....

Great 25 point road win and big road win for the Sac State bball program. Great to see Dylan shoot big time and may he continue to do so. Thinking POW in the Big Sky coming up for him. Nice to have a winning non conference record against all the mostly basketball playing only schools as their big sport. And now time to come out strong in the Big Sky during the winter break when the Hornets play 6 games before the spring semester starts on Jan. 21st. the players can focus on basketball only before hitting the books again.

"Here we go Hornets, GO SAC STATE"

Hope to see Hornet Gym fill up and sell out from here on out. The students will not be back until we host the Montana schools in late January so time for the alum and community and students on break to show up!! Tiny Hornet Gym can be a huge advantage when filled up with screaming Hornet fans on top of the action. .

just looked at the 4-8 Northern Arizona Lumberjacks schedule. NAU is the Big Sky opener for Sac State at hornet Gym on New year's Day. Very impressive non conference schedule for NAU think NAU was picked above Sac State in the preseason Big Sky standings. NAU has a 2 point win over St Mary's in Moraga and a two point win over LMU in Flagstaff and a 19 point win over Fresno State in the Sky Dome. Very impressive. A big time opponent for the Hornets at home to open up the Big Sky race.

Here we GO.

To win over the best we have to step it up and be better. .

This is the year for the Hornets. The year to believe we are Big Sky contenders and make that happen on the court game by game.

Let's do this!!

If Coach Katz did anything, and I mean anything different on the lead up to or during the trip to Orem he better bottle it and start sprinkling it before every BSC away game the rest of the year. I'm the superstitious type. I try to repeat everything I do when on a winning streak and change everything when losing. I hope there was substantive difference in preparation or travel arrangements or game day shoot around or anything.......please ........do it again and again and again.....

Was thinking the same things. What did the Hornets do different for this road game than others. UVU only lost by 3 points to Utah State in Orem and we win by 25. Bottle it indeed.

not sure but is the 2 road wins so far already equal the total road wins of last year? We beat SUU and PSU on the road and think that is it during the 2013-14 season.

Having 2 road wins going into Big Sky play has to be a boost and give the team confidence that they can compete outside of Hornet Gym. And they will have to compete hard as Big Sky teams will not be taking them lightly and prepare hard when the traveling Hornets come calling to the mountain schools.

No kidding. Hornets grabbed a much needed road win and secured a winning record (6-5) in the process. Hopefully this gives the Hornets some momentum heading into the opening BSC games this week. Looking back at the OOC games, the only bad loss is that road game at Abilene Christian. None of the other losses are that surprising.

I agree about the bad losses SD but the Portland loss and Seattle loss really sticks in my craw.....the Portland game we had a shot at with 10 secs left.....I think there may have been a "hangover" after that loss that seeped into the Seattle game but who knows...I know you aren't going to win shooting as poorly as the Hornets did in Seattle
