Hornets beat Antelope Valley 82-60 last night. Hornetsports recap. It was closer than it should have been for much of the game as AV was hot from range in the 1st half. Hornets made some adjustments and played better D in the 2nd half and ran away with it with about 5 minutes left.

Hornets were sloppy with the ball in the 1st half, cleaned a lot of it up in the 2nd. Graves (19 pts, 5 assists) made some plays to the bucket and created scoring chances. Strings (12 pts, 5/15 from the floor) still hasn't found his grove yet. It would be nice to see less Wu (0 pts, 2 tos) who has been struggling, and more Battaglia (12 pts, 4/5 from 3) who looks to be our sharp shooter. Dressler (13 pts, 2/3 from 3) had a solid night as well.

Next up is the dungpilers in Golden 1.

coming up to Sacramento tomorrow for my first basketball game in 14 years.

Hope to see the students , alumni and community show up for the Hornets at the new arena.

Go Hornets

and

Stingers Up!
