M: vs WSU & NAU

BSC leader WSU comes to The Nest tonight in what should be an easy win for them. The Hornets battled tough when they played earlier in the season which makes me think WSU will roll into town and take care of business early in this one. The Hornets (and no other BSC team for that matter) will have an answer for Lillard. Add on two other WSU players who are averaging double digit scoring and the Hornets are no match for WSU. I don't think anyone will be surprised if this one is a complete laugher.

75-60 WSU final. As expected WSU jumped out to an early lead and cruised to an easy win as the Hornets had no one to matchup with WSU’s talent. The Hornets move onto a rare shot at a win this weekend when they face a struggling NAU team. This could be one of only a couple chances left at avoiding a winless conference slate.

The Hornets made a pretty good game out of it late in the 2nd half getting the lead down to 6, but they missed way to many short layups, I was astonished at how many they missed, and Sac's radio guy on BSTV was saying the same thing.

The Hornets have a struggling NAU team heading into The Nest tonight. It’s a rare winnable game for the Hornets if they can take care of business. There aren’t many favorable chances for a victory left this season so the Hornets will need to take advantage of their opportunities and hopefully get a win.

This was a nice birthday gift to me. I caught the last 12 minutes of the first half and the Hornets had a comfortable lead for most of it. NAU went on a small run during that time to get within about 11 but then the Hornets slammed back on the gas pedal and went into halftime with a comfortable lead. Everything was working for the Hornets and nothing for NAU. It’s good to see the Hornets finally finish off a game and bring home a win, hopefully we can see a couple more wins before the season closes out.
