• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Marketing idea for next season.

Back when I graduated from this fine institution. I had a class my senior year that was essentially working on my senior project.

I think you let Ron continue to screw up marketing to the community, but lets make students responsible for getting students to the games.

What if you take one of these senior project classes for marketing students and give them increasing student attendance at basketball games their project. Set realistic but challenging goals. If student attendance at games surpasses the goals set, they pass the class. Give them a budget and let them market to their peers. They understand the changing marketing climate among people their age.

Our marketing efforts have not changed in 30 years. I noticed this week that we started using Facebook and social media contests to select participants for our time out and half time give aways. Facebook was a great place to advertise to students in 2008-2010. But now Facebook is mostly used by the 50+ demographic.

It is sad that we have one of the most exciting players in our history and we can't even get students and four of their friends to come to games. We need to change how we do things. Lets face it, they can't do any worse than what is currently being done.
