• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Now that Marcus Carson is gone...Why not let Washington play? I heard he is losing a year of eligibility anyway (he is a sophmore right now). He's not a red-shirt, and that he never played DI ball so he should be able to play, since he is coming from a JC...So Why not??? Is it Academic, or is it NCAA Compliance crap? I know his shot is funny, but he would be a monster on defense and on the boards.. Not to mention his dunking and blocking ability.

Tranferring from a JC so it isn't like going from DI to DI.

He is not playing because he isn't allowed to. Then again no one really knows why, usually that means grades. Either way usually this year is important for players to get everything in order that isn't then focus on basketball next year.

After one semester (FALL), and I think he was in Summer School, he might have the academic issues resolved. I'm not sure... Maybe coach could clear this whole thing up. I do know that Weber has one more scholarship to offer in the Spring because of Carson's departure. That could be extremely useful...but in the meantime, to retain the depth of the bench and have another athletic guy who could go in and play the 5,4, or 3 would be great. I just really want to see him play defense and dunk...
