MBT Goes Pro

What the SaberCat press release didn't mention is they were only taking two QB's into the season and MBT was signed to a short term deal thru the first exhibition game in Utah after working out with the team for about a month. Yesterday, MBT found out he will back up Grieb and Longshore was cut.

Somebody's not taking care of the SaberCats' website.

Per the AFL site, Longshore was cut as newfan said.

However, per the SaberCats' site, the QBs are Grieb and Longshore, and MBT is NOT on the roster. Of course, NOBODY has assigned numbers, not even ten-year veteran Grieb.

This should just be the shortcomings of the PR department. The league wouldn't report a transaction that has not indeed occurred. I wonder how long it will take for the Hornet to unseat the Aggie, though.
