I sit next to the guy who evaluates ALL of the Sac State and Sac Kings games officials; he's there every game unless a conflict with the Kings, then he does the Kings; they pay better.
He's a 30 year official vet and now rates them. He had a bigger problem with the officials who didn't take any action on the Eastern Washington head coach, who was "harassing" the officials constantly. The officials last night in the NAU game also missed at least two obvious traveling calls on NAU that he noted.
It's impossible to officiate a perfect game, just like it's impossible to play a perfect game or coach a perfect game; everyone's making mistakes, but it's not on purpose. If they make too many errors tho they can be out of the Big Sky, but he doesn't make that decision.
I saw McElroy come up and speak with Wanless prior to the game with NAU, so he was in the gym.
