MEN'S SOCCER UPSETS NO. 10 UC IRVINE, 2-0

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Cousins Chris Bettencourt and Adam Bettencourt each scored for the Hornets as the Sacramento State men's soccer team knocked off No. 10 ranked UC Irvine, 2-0, on Sunday afternoon at Hornet Soccer Field. Sacramento State improves to 4-2-0 on the year while UC Irvine falls to 5-1-0.

The Anteaters, which entered the game undefeated, had not allowed a goal in their previous five games this season. The Hornets have now won four straight games and shutout their last three opponents - Stanford, Loyola Marymount and UC Irvine.

Not that it will do any good given that these are all "minor" sports, but I'd appreciate it if you'd outline these upsets and post it over at FCSFans. Who knows? It MIGHT help....
