Men's/Women's bball..... season's coming to a close

Watched the Lady Jacks play the Griz tonight. Wow, Patton has a flair for putting up big time points. They played pretty well tonight but a few easy inside buckets on UM offensive rebounds and a few minutes let up on intensity were the difference. Lots of talent there and I hope the tough season of close games and lost chances sparks some fire for next season.

Jacks mens bball has a return date with the Griz in Missoula on Saturday. Wish I had the spare coin to go up for the game but that's not the case right now. The Griz have played well this season but a segment of their fanbase seems to think the sky is falling after a loss at home to MSU. Lots of talk on their fanboard about inept coaching, lackluster and fickle fan support and players lacking any heart. Phooey. Unrealistic expectations from a few spoiled fans. The Griz beat Oregon on the road and nearly beat U Washington on the road. They seem to rely too much on Johnson scoring their points but it's better to have to rely too much on a great player than not to have that great player at all. I predict the Jacks and Griz will play hard with the Griz winning a close game on Saturday. I hope I'm wrong. Regardless, it'll be the last time Anthony Johnson will be able to give me any nervous tics due to his career days vs. NAU.
