Mike Hoke will NOT play vs. Montana

Word on the street is that Mike Hoke aggrivated his shoulder injury in the Southern Utah game. Mac and Joel Bass both won't say if he's out for the Montana game or not, but a Standard-Examiner source was told by Matt Hammer that he is OUT for the entire week, including the Montana game. It's not official yet, but I'll post more details when I get them.

Nothing against Jordan Adamczyk, but do we have any hope against the Grizzlies without him? :wall:

Adamczyk is solid, but he might get deer in the headlights syndrome at Washington Grizz Stadium.

Yeah. That syndrome kind of hits all WSU players whenever they head up there. Even the veterans. Hopefuly the "baptism by fire" helps him in the long run.

Stay positive guys! #2s live for their chance to shine..... This is his opportunity to show what he has to everyone.... If called upon you know he will give it his all and leave nothing on the field. This is the road to #1...every #2's dream!

Seriously, I bet his mom, dad, uncle, half brother, ex girlfriend, dog, 93 year old grandma, biological dad he hasen't seen since he was 3, 2nd grade teacher and his 4th cousin will all be making their way to Missoula to watch him start. I will be rooting for him big time! If we win this game I will personally had out 500 fliers on campus for the MSU game and a few others have agreed to do the same. This game is HUGE!!!! At least there really isn't anything to loose at this point. I believe we have the talent to win, I really do! We pounded Sac who pounded Montana. They can't be better then Wyoming. We just have to play a great game and really want it!

Unless I am wrong I don't think anybody on here is a doctor, so maybe Hoke will play who knows. But if he doesn't play Jordan Adamczyk will be just fine. He is a good QB. I also remember that Cam Higgins first start was in Missoula and he turned out to be pretty good.

Jordan will do just fine, if Mike isn't able to go. However, my money is on Hoke to play, but who knows. Personally, I don't think our chances of winning increase or decrease based on who starts at QB. Jordan has been in the system for two years. He knows what is expected of him and will do his best. He is an accurate QB with a great arm. He will be fine.

True, and for some more silver lining, Montana doesn't have much film on Adamczyk, so that could play in our favor. So if Hoke can't suit up, at least WSU will have some element of surprise.

good point, we need all the positive factors we can get at this point. for both teams, this is a must win!

TELL YOUR QB COACH AND OC TO HAVE JORDAN SLANT PASS ALL DAY RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE...WORKED WELL AGAINST US ALL YEAR LONG!

Unfortunately, our OC is inept, whatever your defensive strength is, like for example stopping the run, then that will be our gameplan, run the football. Be as predictable as possible. :ohno:

I know I have maligned our OC quite a bit in the past, but I think a lot of our Offensive woes can be directed at the head coach. I know, can't rip on Mac, and believe me I don't want to, and I'm not intending to, but he is the HC and he is a traditional smash-mouthed football coach. That is the number 1 reason why we run the ball. Now with that being said, Weber wouldn't be anywhere close to as good as they are now without Mac. So...

My biggest issue, isn't the offense, we are averaging over 400 yards a game and scoring close to 34 a game, not bad numbers, but the defense. Our athletes are FAR too good for how they are being coached. Time for change. We need 1 Coordinator!! Right now, I would put the defense totally in Swans hands and see how it goes.

As for Hoke, I've heard it is a game time decision, but that Jordan will be ready if needed.
