Missing the cannon

I can't believe the haters haven't drawn a correlation between the missing cannon and the performance of the defense...

I miss the cannon too. The last home game of the season they should bring it back. Then at the start of the third qtr., when many have yet to get back to their seats, put a live round in and when we score have it pointed at the visitor side bleachers. Yes, we would lose a few of the EWU faithful...collateral damage. It would result in an improved and hopefully enlarged seating structure.

Yeah, the cannon was back and sounding great. Unlike the ROTC in Cedar City uses a 10 ga blank shell which sounds like when I used to put a Black Cat firecracker in a soup can.

clawman,
I hope they Cannon will be back at the last few games, but I doubt it, hope I am wrong. Thanks for the kind words, the same to you and yours. See you at Quest tonight. Vic

HannahO,
My son moved to Bonnie Lake from Moses Lake, he was ordained yesterday at Overcomer Church, in Auburn, on Military Rd., tears came to my eyes after seeing how many young men and women that is into Churches, 5 couples were ordained. His 4 children were on the stage, and they all play in the band. The two oldest lives in your area. Thanks for your service along with your Hubby. I knew you were both in the "Bad A-- Army" ;) ;) ;) . See both of you when you come to the game. Give Grant our love, will never forgot how we met him as a Freshman coming in.  . Can't believe it is almost a year since he left this part of the state. Take Care. Vic

Unfortunately I don't think we can get used to the cannon being back. It was pulled out specially for Military Appreciation Day but that's it. The funding issue still exists with using it every game and the ROTC not being able to afford that. Ironically it's even more expensive for EWU because we score so much.
