• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Missoulian: UM Needs to Answer Questions

Montana will not answer any questions, they do not have to they win. As long as they win, it seems to remove Montana’s obligation of responsibility for the actions of their football players. If you do not believe me, go to their web site and read the message board. By the time, they are done with this both the players in question they will be up for sainthood. By the way, the kid held on murder charges was also involved in the fight last fall where it was five on one. The kid jumped did not dare raise a fuss because he was underage and in a bar, could have affected his trip to Oregon State.(From Montana Message Board) Montanan’s version is he picked a fight with the Montana football players and they were just defending themselves. As to Montana's Div. I transfers, it is harder to find the ones with no baggage than those with baggage. Take the high road is all we get from Montanan's when this story came too light, where was the high road when we had problems. As the saying goes, people who live in glass houses should not throw rocks. Every University in the country has problems or has had problems. It is not exclusive ISU, Montana, BYU, or Montana State. Recruiting character is not as easy as it sounds. Background checks cost money and coaches do not always tell the truth. It is easy to make a mistake. The thing to remember in recruiting is freshman they can be molded and shaped by the coaches and the other players on the team; even troubled kids can change. JC and Div. I transfers are more of a risk; they are older and set in their ways, tending to bring their problems with them when they come in.

Montana sheepherders do not have the personal character to check their own shorts for messes. They do, however, have the capacity to point fingers and call everyone in the league "thugs" when the opportunity arises.
