I heard that Renard was released ... couldn't overcome the ankle injury.

He got into the game tonight vs Sask. He did not look out of place in limited action.Living in Vancouver everything I hear is good things about Mitchell/He is being compared to Dave Dickenson by some.There is also a push with some Edmonton fans to get Matt Nichols into the lineup.
