Our weekly coaches show starts this coming Monday, with the same format as in the past - 5:30 for highlights and 6pm for the coaches show on 700 ESPN. Or http://www.700espn.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for those out of the area.
We will have a new venue this year. We will still be at Northern Quest, but not at Studio E inside of the Epic sports bar. We have outgrown that venue, and Northern Quest has stepped up and given us a bigger venue. Starting Monday, the show will now be at Impulse and we will have plenty of room for everyone. We will still have player guests most every week and it's a great chance to meet some of the fine young men who wear the EWU uniform.
If you aren't familiar with the casino's layout, Impulse is inside the casino, on the other end of the facility from Epic. Your best access will be to park in the parking garage or use the valet service on that side. If you enter the facility near Epic, you will need to walk all the way through the casino to get to Impulse. If you bring kids under 21, they will need to be escorted through the casino. And though Impulse is a 21-and-over club, it's usually closed on Monday. Since this is a private gathering, those under 21 will be admitted for our show.
If you follow me (@EWUradio) or EWU Athletics (@EWUAthletics) on Twitter, we are thinking about accepting questions for our weekly podcast with AD Bill Chaves as well as our coaches podcasts and for the coaches show on Mondays. We will tweet it out when we get it handled.
Football pre-game shows start 95 minutes prior to kickoff once again this year. The live link for 700 ESPN is here, I think: http://player.listenlive.co/28841" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; As always if EWU is playing at home, I invite you to bring a portable radio to the game. If you have such a device these days. We have sideline reports from Keith Osso to keep you up to date on what's happening on the bench. And we also have something special cooked up for Saturday that we may unveil should there be a confusing play or an officials review.
Thanks for reading and I hope you can make the Monday coaches shows if you are in the area. Go Eags!
