• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

USA Today came out today with their annual survey of athletic department spending by state schools. Here is what the Idaho and Big Sky schools did with their budgets in 2014:

* Subsidy means the sum of student fees, direct and indirect institutional support and state money.

Cal-Davis $31 M $29.5 M $25.1M 81
North Dakota $23.8M $23.9M $13.3M 56
Cal-Poly $23.7M $22.2M $17.6 74
Sac State $21.9M $21.6M $16.9M 77
Montana $20.6M $20.3M $8.6 M 42
Montana State $18.7M $18.6M $10.5M 56

Idaho State $12.5M $12.5M $7.5M 60
Southern Utah $10.6M $10.6M $7.9M 75
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Boise State $45.7 M $45.6M $11.8M 26
Idaho $18.9M $18.9M $9.3M 50

Sorted by program revenue (no state support):

Montana 11.9
North Dakota 10.5
Montana State 8.2
Cal-Poly 6.2
Cal-Davis 5.9
Sac State 5.0
Idaho State 5.0
Weber State 4.6
E. Washington 3.7
N. Colorado 3.6
Portland State 3.4
Northern Arizona 3.3
Southern Utah 2.7

Idaho State looks good in this regard; also, keep in mind the 3 California schools and North Dakota have additional revenue generating sports.
