Montana - Championship Game

Wanted to drop by before tomorrow's game and say congrats on getting to the championship game. Your game didn't cause as many heart attacks as ours did but still SUU, despite their record, is a very talented team. Their coach is going to get that program back on the right track as will PSU's coach.

Also congrats to Bliznyuk. In the games I've watched this year he never ceases to amaze me how easy he makes difficult shots look. Definitely one of the best ever in the Big Sky right up there with Harold "The Show" Arceneaux, Lightfoot, Krystkowiak, Lillard and others. I hope he gets a chance in the NBA to show what he can do.

Anyway, here's hoping for a good game tomorrow with the refs being a non-factor for either team. Let the players decide on the court! I can say with confidence that whoever wins is going to capable of putting up a good fight (and maybe getting an upset) in the NCAA tournament this year.

This was a great year for the Big Sky and with so many damn good new/young coaches in conference I think the Big Sky is trending upward for once :)

Huge agreement. The top of the big sky looked amazing! I think we are now at 5 teams with 20 wins, unreal! Now we just need some more convincing wins outside of PSU taking down 3 pac 12 teams to get the conference RPI up.

A win in the big tournament would be huge for the conference too.

How huge is it for us to get Hunt back for the tourney. He only played 6 minutes last night but he gives us another body when our bigs get in foul trouble. He doesn't quite look like he's back to his old self yet but I still love having him out there. Montana has some guys with some size. One of them is a tank. Couldn't believe how big he was in person. Having Hunt helps out with guys like that.

While I feel for the UNC kids I am happy it has worked out this way. If UNC got the win, and we beat UNC, the Griz-whiners would be saying we backed into the title. This way we can beat them on the court.
GO EAGLES!!!

I see this game as a coin toss. The most consistently good team (Montana) against the hottest team in the conference (Eastern). I'd love to feel confident, but this could go either way.

I'm afraid to say anything. We've all seen the last couple of games and we all know that this will probably be a close game again.
